About
My vast teaching experience includes tutoring, working for a leading exam revision company, being an examiner and a Senior Leader within schools. I have 10+ years of middle and senior leadership experience across a range of domains including mental health, RSE, PSHE, Citizenship RE GCSE /A level, Psychology A level, Sociology GCSE and History. As part of my whole school role in PSHE/ Citizenship I have co-ordinated the school assemblies programme ensuring high quality input for students across all three key stages. Furthermore, I have delivered training through our teaching school consortium on attachment, trauma and whole school approaches to wellbeing. Additionally I have been involved in a national "Closing the gap" research project on changing mindsets and the impact this can have on progress & achievement which led to the full design & implementation of a unique spiral curriculum for KS3 & beyond on Mindset & Resilience (it's not a fad and not just about effort)
